Disneyland Park in Anaheim finally has a firm date: Indiana Jones Adventure reopens on Friday, October 23, 2026. The date comes from the attraction’s official page on the Disneyland website.

More than six weeks behind construction walls

The attraction closed on September 8, 2026, putting the refurbishment at a little over six weeks. The closure had been announced back in late July, but without a reopening date. The ride sat on the calendar with no end date for weeks, which is not unusual for Disneyland refurbishments. Construction walls stood in front of the entrance area in Adventureland throughout.

Disney is not saying what was done

That is where solid information ends. Disney has not disclosed what work was carried out, nor announced any new or reworked elements. Whether guests will find visible changes on October 23 or simply a technically refreshed ride cannot be determined in advance.

One practical planning note: Disneyland Park is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on October 23. For a reopening of this profile, heavy crowds on day one are a reasonable expectation.

The attraction and its relatives

Indiana Jones Adventure opened at Disneyland Park in 1995 and drew crowds immediately. Guests enter the Temple of the Forbidden Eye and follow Indy into an adventure that quickly sweeps them up. It remains one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland Resort.

A related version has operated at Tokyo DisneySea since 2001 as Temple of the Crystal Skull. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with the later crystal skull film.

A third variant is under construction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Myth of the Jade Serpent is set in a Mayan temple and replaces the former Dinosaur attraction.
