One Hour Less From Monday: Disneyland Paris Trims Weekday Park Hours

From Monday, September 7, 2026, the shape of a Disneyland Paris day changes noticeably. Both parks – Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World – will close at 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, an hour earlier than the current 10 p.m. Opening stays at 9:30 a.m., and Extra Magic Time for hotel guests and Annual Pass holders still begins at 8:30 a.m.

Weekends are unaffected. Saturdays and Sundays keep the 10 p.m. close.

The second cut in a month

The cut itself is routine; the pace is what stands out. Closing time had already moved forward from 10:40 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on August 8, 2026. Across roughly four weeks, weekday guests lose a combined one hour and forty minutes of evening park time.

Seasonal adjustments are normal at Disneyland Paris – hours traditionally contract once the French summer holidays end and daylight shortens. The resort has issued no specific statement on the current change, noting only in general terms that hours vary seasonally and are subject to change.

The real pinch point: the nighttime shows

The practical impact lands on the evening spectaculars. Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Park and Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World both run at park closing, so on weekdays the show now starts at 9 p.m. rather than 10 p.m.

For guests that means staking out a viewing spot earlier – while also losing the classic final hour when attraction waits typically drop off sharply. Anyone who planned to squeeze in one more ride after the show needs to redo that maths.

Combined with the closures, it gets tight

September 7 carries weight for a second reason: it is also the day Crush's Coaster shuts down for a roughly ten-month overhaul running into summer 2027. Several other attractions are down during September, among them Peter Pan's Flight (through September 18), the Frontierland station of the Disneyland Railroad (through October 4) and the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop (through September 9). Mad Hatter's Tea Cups follow from September 21 to October 2.

Fewer attractions plus shorter hours puts additional pressure on everything that remains open. Anyone visiting in September or October should tighten their plan and clear their priorities earlier in the day.
