Christmas Comes to Arendelle: Disneyland Paris Extends the Season into World of Frozen

On September 8, Disneyland Paris confirmed what sets the 2026 holiday season apart from every one before it: Disney Enchanted Christmas will reach World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World, which opened in June.

The season runs November 7, 2026 to January 6, 2027, across both parks as usual.

What happens in Arendelle

The village of Arendelle gets its own holiday treatment, which the resort describes as drawing on traditional Nordic craftsmanship. Two new offerings come with it:

• "The Arendelle Carolers" – roughly 15 minutes, with Olaf and a Christmas choir, plus snow effects
• "Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa" – roughly seven minutes at Arendelle Bay

One detail stands out among the character meets: Kristoff appears for the first time. Anna, Elsa and Olaf also appear in holiday costume, alongside residents of Arendelle.

Over at Disneyland Park

The traditional half of the season stays intact. Confirmed:

• "Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade" in daytime and evening versions, the latter with illuminated floats
• "Let's Sing Christmas!" at Videopolis Theatre
• the 24-metre Christmas tree on Main Street, lit several times daily
• a Santa Claus meet at Disney Clothiers on Main Street
• character meets at fixed points: Mickey and friends at Town Square, princesses at Central Plaza, Aurora and Prince Phillip in the castle courtyard

On the dining side, the "Les Chalets Gourmands" winter market returns, alongside seasonal dishes across quick-service and table-service locations.

New Year's Eve in both parks

The two parks celebrate separately, each with DJ parties, character programming and fireworks at midnight. New this year: Disney Adventure World adds a Frozen-themed drone and fireworks show.

A note on pricing

Some coverage has framed this as Disneyland Paris introducing a holiday "paywall." That is not accurate. What exists is a paid reserved viewing area for "Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade". The parade itself remains included with regular admission, as does the rest of the holiday programme. There is no surcharge tied to World of Frozen, and Disneyland Paris has announced none.

What it means for planning

For European visitors, 2026 is the first winter where an evening in Disney Adventure World makes sense beyond a run at the Tower of Terror. World of Frozen has been the park's crowd centre since it opened in June; two extra shows and holiday decor will likely intensify that through November and December.

Anyone seeking quiet should look at the first weeks of November: the season starts November 7, well before the French school holidays.

Still unpublished are exact show times and whether the new Frozen shows will use any queueing system. The resort typically releases both closer to the date via its app and website.
