Walt Disney World has expanded its luggage transfer service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and selected resort hotels: as of September 24, 2026, JetBlue participates too.

For European travellers this matters only conditionally – the service covers domestic flights only out of MCO. Anyone with an onward flight within the US can use it.

How the service works

On arrival: guests must register with BagCheck at least 24 hours before their flight via the Walt Disney World website. Checked luggage is then transported between airport and hotel.
On departure: luggage must be handed to Luggage Assistance or Bell Services at least four hours before departure.

Which airlines participate

With JetBlue, there are now four:

  • JetBlue (new)
  • Southwest Airlines
  • American Airlines
  • United Airlines

At which hotels

And here lies the actual limitation. The service is currently available at six properties:
  • Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
  • Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
  • Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
That is five Value Resorts and one Moderate Resort. The Deluxe hotels do not have it.

Context

The service launched last year at the Value Resorts and reached its first Moderate Resort this summer with Caribbean Beach. Disney has said more resorts and airlines could follow.

It is sometimes described as the return of Magical Express – the former free bus transfer with luggage collection, discontinued in 2022. That is not accurate: this covers luggage transport only, not passenger transport. Guests are still responsible for getting themselves to the hotel.
